During my time on "Planet Zoo" I had the pleasure to work with the scenery & foliage team. I was responsible to model and texture scenery items in the african and classic theme, multiple assets in the zoo workshop and some foliage creation to help out with the vast amounts of trees that had to be created for the game.
The foliage work included the use of SpeedTree, Maya and Substance Designer for bark textures.
The Scenery Items like the African Kilns were sculpted in ZBrush, retopologized and UVed in Maya and textured in Substance Painter.
My responsibilities:
- Modelling/Sculpting
- Unwrapping/Texturing
- Lods
- Material creation with Substance Designer (Tree Bark)
